We all start somewhere

Have you ever had that feeling of "I don't think I can do that" or "that is probably not for me" or "that's going to be way too effing hard"?  Even though it is something you really want to do or know it is going to get you closer to that goal but you find every reason to talk yourself out of taking that step.  Am I right or am I right?  I've been there and done that.

"You don't have to be great to get started, but you have to get started to be great."
- Les Brown.

It is important to remember that we are all starting somewhere.  Everyone was a beginner at some point.  Whether you want to take up running, join a new fitness center, become a photographer, plant a garden or start a blog. Take that step if you want it badly and don't look back. It may take you a while or you may get it right away.  Some days may feel like you took some steps backward but you will have more days of taking steps forward.  But, you won't ever get it or take any steps if you don't try!  You may decide it isn't for you but at least you won't be wondering what if.

Let's also remember to not judge those that are the "newbies" we once were.  Don't judge the runner for going super slow or stopping half way up the hill, at least they are out there.  Don't judge the girl next to you that can't finish the triceps sequence in class because that was me so many freaking times!  Don't judge others that are trying their hardest, you certainly don't know their story.  Be encouraging, be a friendly face and be a leader.  And most importantly, don't judge yourself or compare yourself to everyone else doing the same thing as you.  You do you and be a badass doing it!
